Since July 2025 the province of Vinh Long also includes the former provinces of Ben Tre and Tra Vinh: river islands, orchards, red-brick kilns, Khmer pagodas and coconut country, all within reach of the conference venue.

Vinh Long sits between two branches of the Mekong. These places are a short ride from VLUTE.
